Energy storage system design
Integrated solar street lights are generally equipped with high-capacity lithium batteries or lead-acid batteries to store the electricity collected by solar panels during the day. In order to cope with continuous rainy weather, the design of battery capacity usually takes into account the local climate characteristics and leaves a certain amount of backup power reserve. In this way, even if there is insufficient light for several consecutive days, the battery can still support normal lighting at night and avoid power outages.
Intelligent power management
Modern integrated solar street lights are equipped with an intelligent power management system that can automatically adjust the light brightness and working mode according to the remaining power. For example, when the power drops to the set threshold, the system will automatically reduce the light brightness or enter energy-saving mode to extend the working time of the lamp. In this way, even in weather with unsatisfactory lighting conditions, it can ensure that the street lights at least maintain the necessary lighting functions and ensure road safety.
Efficient solar panel selection
The conversion efficiency of solar panels directly affects the energy storage effect. When designing integrated solar street lights, high-conversion-efficiency solar panels are usually selected to maximize the collection of solar energy even in low-light environments. In addition, the inclination angle and installation position of the solar panels are also optimized to ensure that more energy can be obtained under limited light conditions.
Auxiliary charging solution
In order to further improve the reliability in rainy weather, some integrated solar street light systems are designed with auxiliary charging functions, such as connecting to the mains or using wind power to assist in power supply. In this way, when the solar power supply is insufficient, it can automatically switch to the backup power supply to ensure the continuous operation of the street light and avoid lighting interruptions due to weather factors.
Regular maintenance and cleaning
Rainy weather is often accompanied by the accumulation of dust, leaves and other debris, which will affect the light absorption efficiency of the solar panels. Regular cleaning and maintenance of solar panels to keep their surfaces clean can ensure the maximum use of sunlight. In addition, checking the status of the battery and control system and replacing aging components in time are also important measures to ensure the stable operation of the lamps.
Reasonable design of lamp power
When designing, reasonably configure the lamp power according to the actual lighting needs to avoid excessive power causing rapid battery consumption, and to avoid too little power affecting the lighting effect. Reasonable power design can achieve a balance between lighting effect and battery life under limited power conditions, especially in rainy weather.
